The Plight of Women in the Green Revolution
On June 13, 2009, the results of the Iran Presidential Election were announced and showed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to be the winner with more than 60% of the vote. This sparked major controversy among the people of Iran and so the supporters of Ahmadinejad's opponent, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, immediately took to the streets and began the current Iran election protests. This event has come to be known as the Green Revolution since that was Mousavi's presidential campaign color. During the campaign, women became very involved in the support of Mousavi since he promised to create laws that would be fairer to Iran's female population (unlike those of Ahmadinejad). These women have also been very involved in the current election protests. This trailer was my very first video production and it was created in order to show the struggle of the women of this Green Revolution and how they continue to fight for their rights as human beings.
Gather Here
Here is a video that I created for my Beat Reporting class at Boston University. It was my final project and told the story of a small, local sewing story in the heart of Cambridge, MA that was raising funds for victims of Superstorm Sandy.
Health Check NYC 2012
During the last week of 2012, the youth of several Seventh-Day Adventist churches in New York City came together with the goal of spreading the word of God throughout the city. This video shows how, through song and praise, they were able to reach people within the concrete jungle and invite them to learn more about the Gospel.
