My Articles

Here are several articles I've written.

"Putting the 'Care' in Our Health Care System"

When most people think of the issue of health care reform and legislature in the United States, the most common words that come to mind might be “medical,” “doctor,” or “nurse.” However, it's much rarer to see the words, “Community Health Worker” on the front page of any newspaper or even above a smaller side column. Nonetheless, recent strides made by these men and women have taken them from discussing medical information with members of their neighborhoods to joining the conversation on health care reform.

“From Simple Costumes to a Successful Career”

As a child, she found her love of media while making short films with her little sister. But, now that they're both grown up, college sophomore, Caymee Wood has allowed her passion for communications to grow as well.

"A Historical Day in a Historical City"

The people of Boston are used to living around historical landmarks such as the Liberty Bell and the Old State House. On Friday, April 13th however, some were able to become part of that history at last.

"Family Politics in the Political Race"

As the Republican primaries move from South Carolina to Florida, the candidates are being quizzed on several issues, but are being judged by the American public on their family issues as well. Some Americas find that the state of their family values can prove to be just as important as their stances on issues such as the economy.

"Mightier Than the Sword"

An essay that I wrote on the art of writing, its importance to our society, and its ability to create awareness of situations across the globe.
